Job Description Summary

The Demand Response Associate Program Manager is responsible for leading new strategies and operational tactics with multidisciplinary stakeholders to support management of a commercial sector demand response program. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished leader and possess exceptional communication and team management skills. The Program Manager will effectively communicate across a full spectrum of program partners, including various client teams, software contractors, industry associations, and commercial customers. This role will serve as a central nexus to create operational efficiencies for customer outreach support, demand response event management, and reporting activities. This is an office-based role which may require some local travel.

Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The daily operational activities associated with our client’s commercial demand response program.
  • Collaborate with external teams to drive program success while working within budget and resource constraints
  • Develop work plan, monthly program progress reports and program operations in coordination with external program stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and coordinate execution of changes with program decision makers
  • Manage review of demand response event and season results to ensure compliance with client and M&V vendor requirements
  • Manage contract budget and key deliverables, track progress towards individual and program goals, deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly activity and progress reports
  • Work in partnership with client and vendor teams to maximize customer program participation and benefits
  • Ensure adherence to internal and system protocols to use CLEAResult systems, documents, and tools


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience in an energy-industry team management role with a proven record of success
  • Familiarity with operational software systems, data acquisition and storage and data quality control are essential skills.
  • Demand response experience and familiarity with commercial building systems and management decision making process is a plus
  • Proven ability to identify needs and communicate a value proposition across entire customer decision-maker spectrum
  • Highly proficient in verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and MS Office Suite
