Job Description Summary

Manage incentive processing and/or call center services for program, practice, or company operations. Oversees a variety of business critical employees and contract employees, sub-contractors, systems and processes critical to efficient and effective incentive processing and customer service, a key component of energy efficiency programs.

Quality Assurance – Manages and controls processing of rebate / incentive applications and claims for energy savings programs, to ensure that contractual obligations are met, claimed utilization is reasonable, and payments are properly calculated, approved, paid and recorded. Manages analyses of disputed rebate claim data. Prepares and reviews required documentation. Ensures that standards for contract proposals, including contract clauses and attachments, are observed, and that rebates offered are in compliance with programmatic guidelines. Coordinates the review and revision of procedures, specifications, and forms. Provides input on quality control procedures and documentation. Ensures timely payment of incentive invoices and end user incentives. Performs systematic quality assurance verification. Manages sub-contractors and contractors who perform data entry if they are used on a program.

Customer Service – Takes and processes transactions by telephone, internet, and correspondence from customers and stakeholders. Enters and maintains incentives database(s). Maintains knowledge of company products, services, and customer service processes & procedures. Documents conversations with customers, recommends products or services to customers, and advises on program incentives. May be assigned product, program, region or customer accounts. Communicate and resolve disputed rebate claim data. Provides expertise and guidance to customers in interpreting policies to assure program participation and compliance.

Job Description

  • 2-4 years incentive processing experience
  • 0-2 years people management
  • Minimum education requirements - High School diploma or GED required

Key Responsibilities:

Oversees incentives teams by directly supervising entry-level staff responsible for tasks and processes including, but not limited to:
- Coordination and communication
- Delivery and quality assurance: w/adherence to program guidelines
- Project and/or process management
- Assures prompt incentives processing according to program guidelines.
