CLEAResult is looking for an Industrial Accounts Manager, who will be responsible for driving engagement in the IA program at large industrial clients. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop current accounts for large kWh and/or revenue goals for the IAP program, including cross-practice account relationships.
  • Act as program representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
  • Document customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements. Provide input and status updates to program staff
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
  • Travel throughout a defined territory with a large geographic impact for high-tier clients.
  • Project management skills to deliver projects on time and budget
  • Motivating and coaching plant management and teams
  • Facilitating the development of overall continuous improvement plans
  • Developing and delivering statistical models
  • Soliciting a commitment from executives and site management
  • Develops strategic business and technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures in all aspects of the work
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Knowledge and technical understanding of energy consuming processes and systems such as; compressed air, fans and blowers, pumps, process heating and cooling, HVAC, etc.  
  • Analyzing process and systems performance with statistical analysis

Other Requirements

  • BASc in Mechanical Engineering. MS/MBA is preferred. Exposure to business side of things – sales, marketing and project management will be valuable in this role.
  • Professional Engineer license and/or Certified Energy Manager certification are desired.
  • 6+ years of work experience preferably in both engineering and account management setting
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.      
  • Entrepreneurial in nature
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to remain organized while handling multiple priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work well with all levels of management, staff and external contacts.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and demonstrated results driven focus.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of energy efficiency, sales and technical principles, theories and concepts.
  • Complete understanding of requirements and policies of the Industrial Accelerator Program.
  • Strong written, oral, and public speaking communication skills
  • The ability to work as a team and give and take direction to/from co-workers.
