Job Description Summary

Program and Operations support staff ensure smooth delivery of projects and programs, both internally and externally, while adhering to program, practice and operations guidelines. Program and Operations support staff roles often encompass multiple areas including data management, metrics and reporting, team facilitation and coordination, and process definition and improvement. Breadth of scope ranges from supporting individual programs, project or processes at the lower levels, to supporting entire functions (practices, business development, etc.) or the company at the higher levels. These roles tend to be more internal-facing than client-facing, although people in operations roles will often have direct client, customer or trade ally communication and contact.

Job Description

2-4 years’ experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement project work plan activities
  • Support coordinators, associates and management team
  • Process internal and external requests from team members and program partners
  • Enter, organize and report on program data
  • Attend project meetings and disseminate information to appropriate parties
  • Present data in an effective written format, including correspondence, spreadsheets and reports
  • Research and draft reports
  • Assess and process applications from program participants
  • Maintain lists of partners (program participants, utilities, industry organizations)
  • Provide support and review reports from subcontractors
  • Provide administrative support and assistance on projects
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone, email and in person
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Prior experience in construction or customer service industry preferred
  • Strong writing and reporting skills
  • Experience with customer service
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and communicate progress on tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under stress, interruptions, and tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and process flow
