Job Description

Producers oversee the production and delivery of the agency’s work. They manage the process of turning creative ideas into tangible outputs across a variety of non-traditional and large-scale deliverables. For example, if a creative solution calls for the creation of a pair of slippers for the client ask – the Producer finds multiple vendors, entertains bids, and focuses on delivery of that solution, while the Creative team focuses on quality of that deliverable.
 
Their ability to manage multiple projects at any one time they ensure that work is delivered on time, to the required level of quality, and within the agreed upon budget. Forecasting for their region with input from Account Management staff helps inform the business health and potential need for additional creative, dev, and studio resources. 
 
Account Management will work with their Producer to help secure resources, timing, and budget based on the predetermined scope from the Account Management team. Producers are a single point of contact for all billing, timing, and resource questions for their client portfolio.
 
Producers work with the Resource Manager to secure resources based on availability and prioritization of projects while meeting deadlines in the most efficient way possible. In addition, they are the single point of contact for the Creative Director to help maintain visibility and utilization across their lines of business within their regions.
 
For larger projects, both in scope and deliverables, each regional producer will work with their peers to find the right information to better inform scopes of work outside of their own expertise (i.e; Video/Media, Digital Technical, POP,  etc...)
 

Additional Job Description

 A Typical Day / Day in the Life

•Attend TWICE-WEEKLY meeting with the Creative Director and their Producer Peers to review prioritization, status, and deliverables due for the week to determine if any roadblocks exist and what actions must be taken to ensure delivery.•Communicate any issues with the Account Management and Creative teams.•Conduct weekly job status meetings to gather and share information with Account Management Point of Contact and the rest of the team•Review the resource timeline with the Associate Marketing Managers to get approval to more forward•Handles contractors and external vendor partnerships and agreements•Manages up to Creative Director for challenges with Creative, Account Management, Studio, etc...•Examines weekly utilization and works with Resource Manager to sustain acceptable levels across all resources.

•Both staff and clients are happy, and tasks and jobs are either on or ahead of schedule and on budget•Challenges and issues have been resolved with physical communication (pick up the phone), not through emails and workflow. •Managing the processes and not individual people

•Making tasking efficient and not over-bearing•Providing time to think and solve, while maintaining a high level of efficiency and utilization for all resources•Keeping resources on track with the tasks they need to do to stay on schedule and possibly work ahead of schedule•Does the team have the right information to create the best solution to the brief, in the most efficient way possible to create great work.
